Choosing a white textured wallpaper or mixed finish wallpaper can help give a twist on this classic colour choice. Think pleats, fabric textures and sculptured vinyl wallpapers, how the surface textures can catch the light and offer much more visual interest that simply cannot be obtained with a traditional white painted wall.

If you're looking to decorate your living room or bedroom with white wallpaper, consider using a shimmering vinyl with added mica (a crushed light reflective natural mineral) or a striking textured pattern with added glitter elements, both can elevate your home decor without overpowering the purity and softness of the overall theme.

A pure, brilliant white wallpaper is difficult to find, which is why we often describe our patterns using terms such as soft white or warm white, ivory, frosted greys and pearl - the thing to remember is around a full room or in a large expanse, any colour used will be intensified, so cool or warm whites will often look "whiter" on mass.

Looking for more than a texture? Many of our white patterns feature coloured motifs that have been outlined or given a gradient shadow with metallic inks or a deeper tone of the original colour. Our white patterns often mix the use of mica and shimmer which works very well when creating a tonal pattern or silhouette, this reflects the changes in light going from natural daylight to evenings under electric lighting.

If you are striving to achieve more from your walls we also have a fantastic collection of patterns (with added colour) that rest over a white or soft pearl colour background. This continues to give you the brightness you love with white but can appease any other party who wants to introduce a splash of colour to the home decor theme.

We also have a selection of white blown vinyl wallpapers, these are generally produced with the thought of painting them your desired colour once hung and dry. They are an excellent choice for uneven or unloved walls where surface imperfections limit your wallpaper choice. These can be left in their original colour if preferred (again these are produced in various tones of white) or enhanced with a reflective paint finish to ensure consistency of colour and increased protection, durability and washability.
