Why choose vinyl?
Vinyl wallpaper is ideal for rooms in your house like the kitchen and bathroom that experience high humidity. It can withstand the temperature changes far better than regular wallpaper and withstand moisture in the air making it perfect for these high traffic hotspots.
However, pasting the wallpaper can be a little trickier as it is much heavier and requires special paste, so make sure you do your research and buy all the necessary tools and adhesives before trying to hang vinyl.
Please note that the type of vinyl wallpaper paste you need will depend on the decorating surface. Clear paste will suffice for painted surfaces but if you are hanging it over another layer of vinyl wallpaper, you will need a special vinyl-to-vinyl paste.
