We offer a full sample service on our wallpapers and borders
Wallpaper Samples are generally available two sizes in Small (A4) & Large (50cm).
Wallpaper Border Samples are available in 30cm (about 12 inch) lengths.
A few patterns are offered in smaller and larger sizes due to their unique characteristics, these options will be shown in the shopping bag.
Samples have been prepared in advance, no continuous lengths are available and samples may come from multiple print runs.
Sample Size Comparison
As you'll see from our comparison, a large sample may be a better choice when a feature wall design or full pattern is present.
Your view of a design's colours, textures and finishes will be limited where an A4 sample is chosen.
Here's how to add samples to your bag
Shortlist your favourite patterns by clicking the "ADD SAMPLE" button on a category page or by clicking "ADD SAMPLE" on a product detail page.
Add as many patterns as you wish this way, you can then review you choices & select the sample sizes for each design in the "My Bag" area.

All done? Let's review your choices:
Head to the "My Bag" area to review your shortlisted patterns, simply click the shopping bag in the top left corner of the site.
Once you arrive in your bag, you'll see a small picture of each pattern you've chosen and a size selection box.
Expand this box to choose your sample size for each individual pattern.
You can also change the quantity of each sample on this page or remove one completely by using the X next to the sample price.
Now you're all set! It's time to complete the purchase.
Standard Sample Delivery is charged at £1.50 to all UK addresses, you should expect your samples to arrive approximately 5 working days from ordering. Samples are delivered by Royal Mail and will arrive with your postal delivery.
We also offer premium delivery upgrades for urgent orders, this has a 1-2 working day delivery aim from dispatch, you can select this option during checkout.
We also have Johnstone's Paint Test Pots or Colour Cards available if you are planning a whole room transformation.
Standard delivery sample orders are sent on a second-class Royal Mail service, delivery is normally expected in around five working days from dispatch. RM are in the process of moving to deliveries of second class post to every other working day, alternating the days each week and not on Saturdays.
