Anaglypta Since 1887
Anaglypta is one of the oldest and most well-known wallpaper brands in the industry, it's particularly known for paintable and textured wallcoverings and we're sure you'll have seen their patterns on the walls or ceilings of a friend or family's home.
Established in 1887 by Mr. Thomas Palmer, Anaglytpta continues to go from strength to strength. Adapting their products to modern formulas and materials, enhancing production techniques to produce superior strength finishes suitable for contemporary living.
Our curated selection of Anaglypta products can be found below and includes a mixture of pressed duplex and extra touch triplex papers, blown expanded vinyl designs and woodchip wallpapers alongside sculptured finished vinyl textures and embellished simulated brick effects.
Anaglypta is now over 135 years old and remains relevant thanks to continued improvement and producing a varied range of products. These range from heritage pressed wallpapers that have been produced for well over a hundred years. What is now considered retro designs are also still produced including patterns from decades past such as 1950's, 1960's & 1970's.
Classic patterns from the 1980's & 1990's onwards are still made, these are generally produced using expanded blown vinyl, a revolution in the industry at the time which is still well in use today. Benefits include greater texture depth and both thermal and audible insulation.
Improvements have been consistently made since the turn of the century to the paintable wallpaper sector to better resist impacts, retain shape and form during hanging and also the ability to hang a dry wallpaper to a pasted surface.
These enhancements have arrived hand in hand with a series of new wallpaper collection labels such as Armadillo, Supaglypta & Vynaglypta. To help you find the right pressed product Anaglypta also introduced the Original, Precision & Pro labels to help us all understand the ranges on a durability level.
We hope you'll find a pattern you love from our curated collection of Anaglypta Wallpapers and of course, once hung and dry you can pair your new design with your favoured colour from our selection of wall & ceiling paints.
