White and Pearl Wallpaper

The simplicity and minimalism of a white room can never be understated when you are trying to create your home haven. White textured and mixed finish wallpapers can help give a twist on this classic colour choice that cannot be obtained with a simple painted white wall.

Using a sparkling glitter wallpaper, a shimmering mica design or a striking textured pattern can really enhance your space without overpowering the softness of the theme. If you want a little more from your walls we also have a fantastic collection of patterns (with added colour) that rest over a white background. This continues to give you the brightness you love with white but can appease the other half who wants to introduce a splash of colour.

A pure or brilliant white wallpaper can be difficult to find, which is why we often describe patterns as soft or warm white - the thing to remember is around a full room or on a large expanse any colour will be intensified so whites will often look whiter on mass. Returning to the mixture of finishes with white wallpapers, the use of mica and shimmer works very well when creating a tonal pattern or silhouette. Good preparation is essential for any shimmer wallpaper so a good lining paper wall preparation would be an essential starting point.

Shadowing is also a popular effect; many of our white patterns feature coloured motifs that have been outlined or given a gradient shadow with metallic inks or a deeper tone of the original colour. Glitter embellishments have proved to be the most popular trend recently, either in their purest plain forms or added to a mixed texture patterns as an enhancement rather than the main feature.

We also have a selection of white blown vinyl wallpapers, these are generally produced with the thought of painting them your desired colour once hung and dry. They are an excellent choice for uneven or unloved walls where surface imperfections limit your wallpaper choice. These can be left their original colour if preferred (again these are produced in various tones of white) or enhanced with a reflective paint finish to ensure consistency of colour.
