In the middle of January I was looking through our twitter feed ( @homeflairdecor ) and I spotted a call for help from DIY SOS, they were requesting help and materials in the local area. With us only being in the next town I spoke with the rest of our team and we put ourselves forward to help. We heard back from them very quickly were informed about the situation of the family they wanted to help, I\'m not able to expand on the this as it may spoil the broadcast but they are a truly deserving family.
The design team was to be led by a certain flamboyant male designer whom shall remain anonymous until we see the results on TV, he and his team browsed our collections and came across a great wallpaper which they loved and asked to be supplied with. We couldn\'t refuse this cause so my colleague dropped off the rolls at the site, meeting some of the DIY SOS team and the designer.
So ten days later we went along to the big reveal, so many tradesmen had given their time and equipment to this cause I couldn\'t believe just how many! We all packed into a local hall and received a great thank you from the project manager and a sneak peek of the results from the designers phone pictures, all I can say is it looks great!
Once the family had been surprised with the changes we all gathered outside of the house to see them, they were so very grateful and gracious - we were just so glad to help. I can\'t wait for you all to see it, but mums the word for now!
